As we grow, we’re looking for a **Bookkeeping & HR Coordinator** to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a **Bookkeeping & HR Coordinator** who will play a key role in managing our day-to-day financial operations and supporting our HR functions. This hybrid role is perfect for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both numbers and people.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Bookkeeping & Accounting (Primary)**
- Process weekly payroll using **QuickBooks Online**, and **Busy Busy**:

- Recording financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
- Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)
- Perform weekly bill payments and ensure vendor accounts are current
- Conduct job costing and provide weekly cost tracking reports to management
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintaining the general ledger.
- Processing payroll
- Assisting with tax filings by providing records.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and support year-end accounting processes

**HR Duties (Secondary)**
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and records
- Coordinate onboarding paperwork for new hires, including employment contracts, tax forms, and safety documents
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, updates, and communication with benefits providers
- Ensure compliance with employment standards and company HR policies
- Support management with HR-related inquiries and documentation

**Qualifications**

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction or trades industry a plus)
Strong knowledge of **QuickBooks Online**
Understanding of basic HR processes, employee onboarding, and benefits administration
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
