When you are part of Magellan, you are part of the team **Position Summary** Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has a great opportunity for an Engine Assembler "B". The successful incumbent will be responsible for the assembly & disassembly of engines & components. **Essential Responsibilities** - Construct sub-assemblies, assembler detail parts & sub-assemblies to major assemblies & engines. - Work to production assembly procedures, which, are established by previous shop practice or are given by oral instruction Required to perform strip operations as required, minor alterations, & make flow & Pressure checks. - Required to perform all spray & "touch-up" brush painting work to parts, & assemblies for engines, for test rigs, etc. - Assist Engine Assembler "A". **Position Requirements** - Formal education &/or related 3-5 years work experience in a turbine engine repair & overhaul facility. - Technical training (gas turbine engine, advanced turbine engine). - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Action oriented. - Ability to work with precision measuring instruments, hand tools, photographs, blueprints, process summary sheets, planning instructions, change notices & oral instructions. **Why Magellan?** - Competitive salary - Attractive benefits package (fully Company paid) - Generous Company pension plan - Positive work-life balance - Excellent career progression opportunities - Employee Assistance Program - On-site gym - Free parking **Confidentiality** Pay: $34.47 per hour **Benefits**: - Company pension - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site gym - Paid time off - RRSP match - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Mississauga, ON L4T 1A9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - turbine engine work: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
