**Metal-Air Mechanical Systems Ltd.** is a Greater Sudbury based mechanical contracting company which services the industrial, commercial, and institutional markets.

We are seeking a permanent full-time **Human Resources Coordinator **to join our team.

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the management of human resources of the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist management with the discipline process.
- Conduct orientations for new employees and students.
- Develop, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures.
- Develop weekly Health, Safety and Wellness Chats.
- Maintain and oversee safety programs.
- Maintain company intranet.
- Maintain regular communication with employees to ensure effective employee administration.
- Maintain training and development database.
- Oversee and schedule training as needed.
- Oversee various leaves and return to work processes.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
- Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Report workplace incidents, conduct investigations and maintain WSIB database.
- Review and maintain risk assessment database.
- Review hours of work and time off requests for consistency.
- Work closely with payroll to process pay changes, new hires, leaves, and terminations.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus on Human Resources.
- 1-2 years of relevant HR experience.
- CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset.
- Computer savvy with basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize constantly changing and conflicting priorities while meeting strict and tight deadlines and working under pressure.
- Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and desire to continuously improve HR processes.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
