Burson is looking for an intern to work across both our Consumer & Brand, and Corporate Affairs teams.
**Our team is integrated, so our interns get to work closely with our account and specialist teams, supporting various projects, including media relations, social/digital media, writing, monitoring and research.**
**What you'll do**:
- Be involved in developing client-facing deliverables
- Media and stakeholder outreach
- Participate in brainstorms and internal strategic meetings
- Track and share news and trends with the team and clients
- Create materials, including media lists, media pitches, client reports, meeting agendas and summaries, insight notes, measurement reports and more.
- Monitor for media coverage and social media conversation
**Experience that contributes to success**:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from communication, public relations, public affairs, or related programs where placements are required as part of the educational curriculum.
- Strong time management skills, with experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing competing demands, and meeting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and drive to take initiative
- Deep interest in current affairs and an active consumer of media and social media, with a passion for networking and staying on top of trends
