Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a dynamic and action-oriented Corporate Affairs Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving both internal and external communication programs, helping to foster pride among employees and amplify brand presence externally. You will work with a diverse portfolio of well-known brands and report directly to the Corporate Affairs Director.This is a 12-month contract based in Bolton, ON. This role requires an onsite presence.As a Corporate Affairs Specialist, you will be a key driver of communication for the segment and its associate population. Your focus for the first 90 days will be getting up to speed on annual programs and taking day-to-day ownership of drafting communications, sending out newsletters, and managing announcements. You will work in a "small but mighty" team environment that values a positive attitude and the ability to move with pace.Advantages• The role offers significant growth opportunities through 1:1 coaching with the Corporate Affairs Director and access to support from other regional talent.• You will gain deep experience by supporting both internal and external communication programs, providing a well-rounded perspective on corporate affairs.Responsibilities• Internal Communications: Drive internal communication strategies to connect with the associate population and foster a sense of pride across the organization.• Content Creation: Draft and distribute regular newsletters and internal announcements.• Brand PR: Support and amplify Brand PR campaigns externally to increase reach and engagement.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing teams and PR agencies to ensure cohesive messaging.• Program Management: Take ownership of day-to-day communication tasks and assist in the execution of yearly communication programs.• Performance Tracking: Monitor the reach of Brand PR programs and the relevancy of content to ensure effective connection with the audience.QualificationsMust-Have Skills and Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in internal and external communications.• Internal Comms Expertise: Proven experience managing internal communications for a company (required).• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.• Technical Savvy: Experience with newsletter platforms (e.g., Poppulo) and digital savviness.• Soft Skills: Must be a self-starter, fast learner, and comfortable moving at a fast pace.Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications:• Agency Background: Experience working within a public relations agency.• Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe design tools or video development skills.• Media Trends: Staying current with the latest trends in media relations.SummaryIf you are a communications professional with a passion for storytelling and a proactive mindset, we encourage you to apply todayRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
