Junior IT Systems Specialist

The Junior IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for assisting in providing systems support services on Eperformance Client projects and support contracts. This role will involve participation in deployments, technical problem diagnosis, and systems design and, is incumbent on solving problems and getting things done for related project teams working on client solutions.

**Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve cloud software systems problems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve cloud and network support problems
- Coordinate the troubleshooting and resolving of client technical issues
- Provides data reports for system support management
- Perform planning, coordinating, testing, and installation of new updates/releases.
- Understands client processes for the management of the government granting service cycle
- Establish backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Provide support to clients and colleagues for hardware and software related issues pertaining to Eperformance equipment/work
- Onboarding new staff by setting up accounts and hardware sufficient for their needs
- Understand and manage Microsoft licensing for managed client solutions

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The desire and willingness to learn new things and be part of a busy and dynamic team with often changing priorities
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills

**Qualifications which would be considered an asset but are NOT required**:

- Experience in Microsoft systems and/or network support, in particular, experience building, managing, and troubleshoot existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows Server
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in Virtual Machine management (i.e. Hyper V, VMWare)
- Experience with the following software/protocols: ADFS, Active Directory, DNS, Windows Firewall, VPN and PAT
- Experience with Azure and Azure Active Directory, and/or with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint would also be beneficial.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
