**About the workplace**

This is a permanent, part-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.

As an FX Payments and Reporting Analyst, you will ensure FX related payments, analysis, and investigation will be processed accurately and on time, enabling compliance with corporate, legislative and regulatory requirements.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Analyze data, conduct investigations, resolve discrepancies, provide reports, monitor and resolve transactional items received through FX related systems/processes in order to ensure quality transactions.
- Provide technical advice to managers and staff regarding risks and outcomes of investigations items in order to ensure standards are met.
- Monitor and process payments within the required deadlines while meeting regulatory, compliance and AML requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to all FX inquiries for Vancity, VCIB and external/internal stakeholders enabling delivery of a differentiated member experience

**You have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Exposure to Payment Operations (foreign exchange electronic transfers etc.)
- Analytical skills to review information or perform reconciliation tasks, assess for accuracy and completeness, and investigate discrepancies.
- Business acumen in the context of the financial industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
