**Treasury Analyst**

VineHR is partnering with one of our clients with the hire of a newly created **Treasury Analyst** position based at their Head Office downtown Vancouver. This position offers excellent mentorship and the ability to be a part of a collaborative team with lots of opportunity to learn and develop your skill set. The position reports directly to the Treasury Manager and works alongside a small, close-knit team. Our client is a stable, well-established, and very successful organization with a tenured and supportive team.

**The Opportunity**:

- Maintenance and execution of daily cash management processes, including the preparation of daily cash position reports, daily electronic payments on various banking platforms, issuance of manual cheques and coordinating letters of credit and updating various securities.
- Processing, modifying, and assisting with weekly and monthly treasury reporting.
- Responsible for treasury accounting support (communicating to accountants on all cash movements).
- Assistance with consolidated cash forecasting including working with operating divisions on the same.
- Requesting and paying off loan funding (both internal and external)
- Recommending new cash control measures
- Support of operating division - Responsible for completing, updating and filing various bank documentation (i.e., assisting with signatory updates with the banks, assisting with opening/closing and adding/removing services for bank accounts
- Responsible for onboarding bank accounts for new acquisitions
- Assistance with the maintenance of online banking services
- Assistance with executing foreign currency transactions
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Treasury Group.
- Entering online tax payments
- Updating daily and weekly FX and interest rates into the software
- Minimum 2 years’ experience relating to treasury, banking, and cash management.
- Experience with wire transfers and internal transfers on various bank platforms.
- Must be very familiar with wire payment formatting.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems fairly quickly.
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines while remaining detail-oriented.
- Solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work well both autonomously and with a team.
- Relevant post-secondary education, such as a certificate or degree related to Accounting & Finance, is preferred but not mandatory

**Compensation**:A comprehensive compensation package is offered, including base salary in the range of $70,000 - 90,000 per year depending on experience and skills, a variable component, excellent medical and dental benefits, RRSP contribution, vacation, professional development.

**Location**: This is an on-site position based downtown Vancouver.
