We are hiring for two locations: 721 Vanalman Ave (Saanich) & 849 Orono Ave (Langford)

Casual - 8-16 hours per week - WEEKEND Shifts Saturday & Sunday or only Sunday.

Saturday is an 8 hour shift 9:00am-5:30pm, Sunday is a 5-6 hour shift 11:00am-5:00pm

There maybe weekday shifts available as well for casual call in.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, at our new ReStore 721 Vanalman. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of items donated and placed in specified areas of the ReStore. You will greet donors with a friendly demeanor and adjudicate if the donated item(s) can be accepted or not. The ability to communicate sensitively and act as a Habitat ambassador with donors is imperative. Individuals in this role should be extremely detail-oriented and possess basic math skills. It is also expected that receivers have adequate physical strength to successfully process shipments and carry out the daily job expectations safely. This position moves furniture frequently (independently, with assistance, using tools). Assisting customers carry out and load their purchases is another key role for this position. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively with the ReStore Manager, Assistant Manager, Lead Receiver and Truck Team.
