ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
As the Warehouse Lead, you work with the Warehouse Manager and warehouse associates to make leadership, symmetry and productivity in the warehouse. Your primary role is to deliver leadership and logístical support to the warehouse manager and staff in the absence of the warehouse manager.

The Warehouse Lead demonstrates an efficient impression of ANIÁN to our customers by executing productive ecommerce fulfillment operational strategies, resulting in positive operating profits and exceptional customer experiences to our ecommerce customers. You will have an immediate and direct impact on the success of ANIÁN through demonstrating leadership, inventory management, ecommerce fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and representing a passion for the products and the brand. DISCOVER THE ROLE:

- Support the warehouse manager through leadership and assist during their adsense with all warehouse tasks and responsibilities
- Physically able to meet the physical demands of warehouse tasks on a daily and weekly basis.
- Supporting e-commerce and in-store channels through shipping, and order fulfillment
- Receiving and shipping custom orders coming from our warehouse in Victoria, BC
- Ensuring our fulfillment and replenishment accuracy goals are met so that the right products are sent to customers and retail stores.
- Keeping inventory adjustments to a minimum - resolving all inventory discrepancies
- Overseeing receiving of new products and organizing the warehouse - stocking shelves
- Unpacking boxes from shipments received as required and maintaining stockroom organization standards.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs consistently
- Verifying replenishment shipments into inventory, in addition to larger, seasonal collection shipments
- Supporting replenishment to stores weekly transfers
- Processing and fulfillment of e-commerce returns and exchanges in Shopify and other supporting software
- Supporting inventory counts as needed
- Assist in overseeing all quality control duties
- Support with facilitating repairs
- Performing all warehouse tasks in a timely manner to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse area so that all operations can happen efficiently.
- Adhesion and execution of all company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
- Other projects, duties and assignments as required from time-to-time. ANIÁN is a tight-knit company and we all do a little bit of everything when needed

LEADERSHIP:

- Direct line of support to the warehouse manager
- As the warehouse Leader
- you’re focused on setting a professional and productive example to the other members of the warehouse team and staff.
- Connecting with your team and ecommerce customers. Leading by example, you coach in the moment and you're accountable for all areas of staffing and customer experience.
- Lead the warehouse to motivate the team to achieve fulfillment and shipping goals and customer experience standards in a productive approach.
- Work closely with the warehouse manager on all warehouse, leadership and staffing issues
- Work with the retail district manager on retail fulfillment logistics, operations and stock management for the retail stores.
- Support the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure tasks are completed based on previously determined priorities.
- Supporting the growth of the brand and innovating ways to further our operations.
- Keep the work environment professional and always keep the business needs first over personal relationships

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- A high school diploma or in progress/completed post secondary education.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a natural desire to function in an organized environment.
- A supportive attitude that exudes positive energy.
- A flexible schedule that will allow you to work daytime, and weekends

(weekends required).
- Experience in a warehouse or retail environment considered an asset
- High school diploma and fluent in English
