**Position Overview**
We’re growing and seeking a Project Coordinator to support our expanding portfolio across the Lower Mainland. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction management career who wants to learn from an experienced team and grow into a Project Manager role. You will help drive project success by managing documentation, coordinating trades, tracking budgets, and keeping timelines on course.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support in planning and executing tenant improvement and design-build projects.
- Procure trade quotes and assist with trade onboarding and scope clarification.
- Issue and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Prepare and update project budgets, tracking actuals and forecasting cost-to-complete.
- Maintain and revise construction schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
- Coordinate with municipalities on permits, inspections, and occupancy requirements.
- Assist in preparing proposals, tender submissions, and bid packages.
- Coordinate site meetings, record minutes, and distribute to stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain accurate project records, including RFIs, submittals, safety documentation, and meeting minutes.
- Attend project meetings virtually if required and provide recording and tracking action items.
- Support material procurement and logistics coordination for job sites.
- Support general administrative functions such as document filing, scheduling, and communication follow-up.
**Qualifications**
- 2-4+ years of experience in construction project coordination.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and PDF markup tools like Bluebeam, Adobe.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings (PDF plans, spec sheets, etc.)
- Strong understanding of BC construction practices, WorkSafeBC standards, and building codes.
- Flexibility to handle varying work hours depending on project load.
**Assets (Preferred but Not Required)**
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience with fast-track or multi-tenant fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with construction software.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
