- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including staffing, inventory management, beverage quality, and customer service.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive beverage program, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, to meet guest preferences and drive revenue.
- Hire, train, and supervise bar staff, including bartenders, barracks, and servers, ensuring adherence to service standards and promoting a positive work environment.
- Create and update cocktail recipes, specialty drinks, and seasonal menus, incorporating fresh ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Monitor beverage inventory levels, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bar supplies, and equipment, conducting regular inventory counts and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all liquor laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, including age verification and responsible service of alcohol.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to the bar, resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils, in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Foster relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry professionals to source quality products, negotiate pricing and stay updated on industry trends.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive bar sales, attract new customers, and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bar manager or in a similar leadership role in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology techniques, and cocktail preparation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Smart Serve certification or equivalent alcohol service certification is required.
- Legal eligibility to work in Ontario, Canada
