**Hourly rate: $21.94 - 1 Part time - Lasalle Site, 1 Part time - South Bay Road**

**The Maintenance Assistant**supports St. Joseph’s Health Centre operations by assisting the Environmental Services Manager with on-site repair and maintenance functions,. They abide by strict safety and infection control protocols and ensures timely, efficient operations within the Environmental Services department. Additional duties include general labour duties, loading/unloading cargo, and coordinating logistics. The Maintenance Assistant is part of an interprofessional team that focuses on continuous quality improvement and ensures positive patient, resident and staff experiences.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Secondary school graduation diploma
- Flexibility with hours of work and appropriate fitness to perform physical work
- Demonstrated customer-focused approach and commitment to customer service excellence
- Proven organizational, time management and communications skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination (2 Doses) is a requirement to work at our facility

**St. Joseph’s Health Centre**

St. Joseph’s Health Centre oversees the operation of St. Joseph’s Villa (a 128-bed long term care home) and St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre (a 64-bed continuing care hospital with an additional 60-bed offsite unit) in Sudbury, and Villa St. Gabriel Villa (a 128-bed long term care home) in Chelmsford.
