Kanto is a Langley-based brand of consumer electronics products with a mission to support our customer’s digital lifestyle. We design, manufacture, bring to market, and support quality products that our consumers and business end-users love to use.
Our brand has experienced strong global growth over the last several years. Due to our continued growth, we have an immediate need for a **Sales & Business Development Associate (International Markets)** to manage existing accounts, ensuring our partners' success while delivering business results.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Reporting to our Director of Sales, you will undertake a quick study of our products, brand positioning and internal systems. You will gain the fluency and capabilities needed to proactively manage an assigned list of accounts.
You will analyze your account base, develop tactical plans, and prioritize your activities to bring value to your client base and grow the business. You will build lasting, growing relationships with your accounts.
Leveraging your communication and time management skills, you will deliver an experience for your accounts that sets Kanto apart from the competition.
You will embrace your accountability to deliver tangible customer success metrics for Kanto such as customer engagement, revenue growth, profitability, customer retention. You will analyze your account base, understand what the numbers are telling you and identify problems and opportunities. You will develop tactical plans to overcome the problems and capitalize on the opportunities.
**About You**:
You are a self-starter and self-manager who doesn't require daily management oversight of your activities.
You take direction, understand the end goals, and ask for help when needed to get the job done. You have an articulated vision of your ideal professional self and work on your own professional development by learning from peers, study, or other means that suit your personality. When you make mistakes, you are quick to own them, and seek to correct them.
**Qualifications**:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or international trade.(Consumer electronics or Musical Instruments experience is a plus)
- Comfortable coordinating logistics, meetings, and follow-ups for key events.
- Track record of account management success
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn software platforms such as CRM, Presentation Tools, Accounting Systems, and other business software platforms.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
- Numerical fluency
- High level of English fluency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Time and priority management skills
- Ability to pick up the phone and build valuable relationships with people you haven't met before.
- Tenacity and creativity in overcoming obstacles to achieve results.
- Ethical, honest, and accountable
- Have a reliable vehicle and ability to travel to customer locations.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and the US
**Job Type**: Full-time
