Waterloo, Canada Anchoridge Counselling Services Full time

Anchoridge Counselling Services is a private practice in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This position includes but is not limited to the following:

- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
- Scheduling clients appointments
- Collecting payments
- Insurance verification
- Preparing and maintaining client files, paperwork and meeting notes, and managing/updating client databases.
- Working with a team of admins from other locations (Oakville and London) and coordinating on projects/tasks assigned by the admin coordinator or clinical director
- Common workplace cleaning

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a related field is an asset**:

- **Experience in the mental health field**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A high level of computer skills is a necessity; including Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.

- Be able to greet clients with empathy and warmth
- Be an effective **team player** and flexible in adjusting to changing work environments.
- Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Keep others in the immediate team informed and up to date about the status/progress of projects, and all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities.

**Hours**:
Flexible: 20-25 hours a week

The admin will need to submit their availability each month, after which shifts will be assigned based on the provided availability.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
