We are a Utility Company working out of Calgary Alberta and are currently seeking an Administrative Person for our office.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Drafting, preparing, distributing, and following up with various types of correspondence

Reading and summarizing documents

Providing general office management including purchasing office supplies, welcoming guests, and maintaining an organized working environment

Preparing meeting agendas and preparing minutes from meetings

Organizing and supporting the Project Managers, Superintendents and the Project Coordinators with scheduling, letters, document preparation, contracts signatures, invoicing, etc.

Preparing various construction documents, sending out letters, and general communication to trades and Site Superintendents

Coordinate close-out documents for Substantial Performance

Work closely with the construction team, project management and estimators to ensure their deliverables meet the project requirements

Other duties that may be delegated or required from time to time at the direction of the management team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with ability to recognize and meet deadlines in fast-paced work environment
- Ability to coordinate several simultaneous work tasks while maintaining positive attitude and flexible work style
- Experience working within a construction environment and knowledge of construction processes, is an asset
- Experience preparing and issuing procurement documentation, is an asset
- Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently with excellent interpersonal skills.
