We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher works in conjunction with the Foreman to organize workflow and maintenance operations of heavy-duty trucks within the repair facility. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and will be a main point of contact for the service team.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Organize and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks based on urgency, truck availability, and mechanical expertise.
- Assign repair orders to technicians in collaboration with the foreman, ensuring repair timelines are communicated and workload is evenly distributed.
- Review the heavy-duty parts required prior to commencing repair orders.
- Monitor vehicle statuses and progress of repair orders.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service requests, and overall customer satisfaction with repairs.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards and company policies.
- Work closely with management to enhance dispatch operations to reduce turnaround times on repair orders.
- Additional service duties may be assigned as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in automotive or diesel repair/technology is an asset.
- Previous experience as a Dispatcher, Service Coordinator or in a similar role in a heavy-duty truck or automotive repair shop.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for service management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
