Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role based in Winnipeg, MB. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating daily transportation schedules, managing driver routes, and ensuring efficient and timely deliveries in Canada. Additional tasks include tracking shipments, managing communication with drivers and customers, resolving delivery-related issues, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. Staying organized and ensuring the smooth operation of logistics activities are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in using dispatching systems, logistics software, and basic computer applications
  • Understanding of transportation regulations and operational procedures
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with local and North American transportation and logistics networks is a plus
  • Experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics are an asset
