We are seeking a dedicated and organized **Dispatcher **to join our team at Rig Logistics Inc. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient coordination and timely delivery of goods through effective communication with drivers and customers. **Responsibilities**:

- **Route Planning**: Develop efficient and cost-effective routes for truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption.
- **Communication**: Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and address any issues that may arise during their routes.
- **Schedule Management**: Create daily schedules for drivers, taking into account their hours of service, rest periods, and delivery commitments.
- **Customer Interaction**: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery schedules, address concerns, and provide status updates.
- **Problem Solving**: Handle unforeseen challenges, such as traffic delays, equipment issues, or weather-related problems, and make quick and effective decisions to keep deliveries on track.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of driver logs, shipments, and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure that drivers adhere to safety regulations and best practices, including proper equipment maintenance and load securement.
- **Emergency Response**: Handle emergency situations effectively, such as accidents or breakdowns, and coordinate the necessary assistance.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other dispatchers, logistics personnel, and management to optimize operations and resolve issues.
- **Technology Utilization**: Use dispatching software and GPS systems to monitor driver locations and manage assignments efficiently.
- **Reporting**: Generate reports on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery rates, fuel consumption, and driver productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with trucking industry regulations and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Knowledge of geographic locations and road networks.

**Salary**: From $41,000.00 per year
