**Job description**

The _**Accounts Payables Clerk **_takes care of various accounting tasks under the supervision of the accounts payable Supervisor. This is a permanent position, to be filled immediately.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Post supplier invoices to the ERP system after following the internal verification procedure
- Post duty and brokage invoices to the ERP system after following the internal verification procedure
- Compare invoices, packing slips and purchase orders to ensure that quantities, description, and prices are confirmed
- Analyze the accounts payable aging, identify errors and make corrections, if necessary
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements
- Make payments according to suppliers’ terms and reconcile them to the system
- Communicate with suppliers
- Communicate with different internal departments
- Issue consumer compensation payments
- Verify and post of employee expense reports
- Verify and post Expense reports on Corporate Credit Cards
- Prepare work documents related to accounts payable for the year-end audit
- Any other tasks related to the department upon request

**Requirements**:

- A professional studies diploma in accounting
- A minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payables
- Bilingualism : English and French (spoken & written)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel

- 40-hour work week
