Join Our Team as an HR Administrator at Johnson Electric

Location: Stratford, Ontario (onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm (may vary to support business needs)

As our next HR Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and maintaining HR systems. You’ll manage payroll and time/attendance processes, support staffing and employee relations, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Administer payroll and time/attendance systems
- Maintain accurate employee records and system updates
- Track vacations, leaves, and absenteeism
- Manage benefit programs and disability claims
- Support new employee onboarding and system access
- Conduct hourly performance reviews and maintain training records
- Assist with employee relations activities (BBQs, awards, etc.)
- Provide administrative support across HR functions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality/EHS systems
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

- Post-diploma or degree in Human Resource Management
- Working toward or holding CHRP designation
- Experience in manufacturing and payroll is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- High integrity, dependability, and results orientation
- Experience with Ceridian, Workday, or IDT is a plus

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Experience supporting HR initiatives and projects
- Familiarity with shop floor systems and employee access tools
- Knowledge of health & safety and environmental compliance
