**Overview**:
Royal Claims Services is actively seeking a proficient Claims Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our claims team in handling a variety of loss types across different lines of business. As a Lloyd's approved Third-Party Administrator (TPA), or a DCA as we are now called, that has been involved in the Lloyd's market and specialty lines since our inception, this role involves direct discussions with Lloyd's stakeholders. Your leadership will ensure accuracy and efficiency in resolving claims, which is crucial for maintaining our exceptional service standards and strong industry reputation. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact our innovative claims management strategies and enhance client satisfaction.

**About Royal Claims Services**:
Royal Claims Services is a Lloyd's approved Delegated Claims Administrator (DCA), integral to the Lloyd's market support ecosystem. As a DCA, we hold the authority to directly manage claims, allowing us to serve as the primary handler for diverse and complex insurance lines, including commercial property and casualty claims. Our pivotal role promotes and represents the Lloyd's brand globally, demonstrating our capability and trustworthiness. We leverage advanced technology to streamline our claims processes, enhancing our ability to manage claims swiftly and efficiently. This technological integration not only speeds up service delivery but also significantly improves customer satisfaction by ensuring quick and accurate claim resolutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the claims handling process, ensuring efficient and accurate resolution of claims in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Directly interact with Lloyd's of London and manage claims on various non-standard lines, providing specialized expertise.
- Monitor handling practices to ensure files are handled in line with Delegated Authority and SLAs
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of claims professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Collaborate with external parties, including Independent Adjusters and Legal Counsel, to ensure claims are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Contribute to the implementation of innovative technologies and refine processes to improve claims management efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage communications and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, enhancing client satisfaction and service delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years of claims experience.
- Prior leadership experience is an asset but not required.
- Experience in handling non-standard insurance lines.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of carriers.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- A desire to improve how claims are handled in the Canadian insurance industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and interact with clients.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIP, CRM) preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
