**Description**
- Manage a team of one Demand Planner, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee national demand planning activities for both new and existing products, including the creation of rolling forecasts utilizing historical trends, customer intelligence, seasonality, and other relevant factors.
- Lead monthly Demand Review meetings with stakeholders from Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to align on demand plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment of the national demand plan to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the demand plan and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Lead weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) demand checkpoints with cross-functional teams to monitor demand changes and drivers.
- Collaborate closely with the S&OP Planning Director to provide input and insights related to the Demand Planning process.
- Oversee communication of product inventory strategies to the Supply Chain team, including high runners, new products, substitutions, and end-of-life products.
- Ensure timely updates to the supply planning team regarding demand deviations and changes.
- Accountable for identifying, selecting, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning accuracy.
- Address demand-related escalations promptly and effectively.
- Oversee provincial replenishment relationships and handle escalations within the team as needed.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planning Manager to address any gaps arising from supply constraints.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Oversee demand planning processes and systems, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify root causes of forecast errors and implement strategies to improve forecast accuracies.
- Take ownership of demand planning KPIs nationally, monitoring performance and driving improvements.
- Drive automation improvements, support technology enhancements, and participate in new planning system implementations.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to gain insights into market dynamics and incorporate them into the demand plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience in Demand Planning**: 5+ years of experience in demand planning or a related field, at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- ** Team Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- ** Forecasting Expertise**: Proficiency in creating rolling forecasts using historical trends, customer intelligence, seasonality, Analyze retail velocity and other relevant factors to predict future demand accurately.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Experience in leading meetings with stakeholders from Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to align on demand plans, and ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- ** Risk Management**: Ability to identify risks and opportunities within the demand plan and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities effectively.
