**Introduction**

This position reports to the Director of Operations. The Material Planner is responsible for management of inventories, planning, scheduling, and reconciling all operations activities, and ensuring material resources are consistent with the production schedule.

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. Motif has 3 top-selling internal brands BoxHot, Floresense and Debunk. As well as operating a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing serviced to Licensed Producers (LP’s) and 3rd Party Brands. **Responsibilities Overview**:

- Reconcile production against the schedule daily
- Create and maintain inventory schedules
- Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns/trends
- Interface with the Inventory Specialist to confirm inventory of cannabis, raw materials, work in progress material and finished product
- Assist in month end inventory reconciliations for Health Canada and CRA reporting
- Prompt cannabis procurement and product shipments as required to meet demands
- Provide production reports and document downtime / schedule non-conformance for review with the management team

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in a related discipline
- 5+ years experience in scheduling and production planning in a manufacturing/production/supply chain environment
- Experience using ERP systems is preferred
- Experience within Cannabis industry is considered an asset
- Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated and high ownership of work
- Strong computer and math skills
- Strong communication skills; able to discuss operational requirements with all levels of personnel
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Required to pass a criminal background check

**COVID PROTOCOL (On site at production facility: Aylmer, Ontario)**

This role is performed on site at our production facility and Motif provides all required PPE and has continued all safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn at all times while indoors in production and common areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
