Dryden, Smith & Head Planning Consultants Ltd. is a planning and land development consulting firm that caters to small and mid-sized developers. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated individual to work on a variety of planning and land development projects.

**Position duties**:

- Provide technical support and assistance to Planning staff
- Prepare, design and edit planning drawings using CAD software
- Prepare presentation materials using MS Office
- Conduct research into planning and land development matters
- Liaison with clients and Municipal staff
- Assist in the preparation of planning and land development reports
- Assist with company marketing and promotion (on occasion)
- Field visits to inspect/monitor client properties (when necessary)
- Attendance at meetings (when necessary)

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Urban Planning, Planning Technology or closely related field
- Relevant work experience is preferable but not necessary, as the company is willing to train
- Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD), GIS and MS Office is a must
- Knowledge of land development process is required
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working on numerous projects at the same time

Pay will commensurate with experience and ability.

Part time hours will be considered.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $44,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
