Together, we’ll push boundaries, inspire creativity, and drive success We are seeking a well‑established senior leader in the Ontario transit planning market with recognized experience in leading Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP) projects and an extensive list of contacts with transit agencies, municipalities and the consulting industry. Reporting directly to the Vice‑President of Transportation Ontario, you will support CIMA+ growth initiatives in the transit planning market in Ontario, with a strong focus on the TPAP and BRT markets, by identifying potential upcoming projects, defining winning bid strategies and leading project delivery. You will be supported in these tasks by our various teams of talented and well‑established resources in mobility, transportation and environmental planning, infrastructure, project management, bid support, marketing, etc. to allow you to focus on the added value you will bring to CIMA+ in terms of reputation, qualification and expertise. This role can be based in any of our Ontario offices, including Mississauga, Burlington, Bowmanville, London, Kitchener, and Ottawa. Key Responsibilities: Strengthen, expand, lead and inspire our team of professionals, technicians and support staff, with a specific focus on transit planning Develop and implement business development strategies to support CIMA+ growth in the transit planning market in Ontario Define bid strategies and lead proposals elaboration (technical and financial) Lead and manage transit planning projects, from light assignments to large, complex multidisciplinary projects Support large transit projects as a discipline lead when your specific expertise is required Oversee and supervise project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors Support growing our mobility and transit practice through targeted recruitment, with the opportunity to build a team under your supervision Provide mentorship and support to junior project managers and staff in the organization Participate in CIMA+ overall business development, marketing initiatives and cross‑business opportunities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Professional Engineers Ontario Registered Professional Planners (RPP) from Ontario Professional Planners Institute Minimum of 10 years of experience in transit planning In‑depth knowledge of transit systems and the Ontario transit market Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, with Project Manager roles in TPAP projects Strong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, procurement processes, and contracts Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and negotiation skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a diverse audience Strategic‑minded with the ability to create strong partnerships across the company and the industry to position CIMA+ for success Why choose CIMA+?
