Galaxy Motors (1990) Ltd. is a fast growing company with 5 Automotive locations and 3 RV locations here on Vancouver Island. We are looking to to hire a Service Advisor to add to our team at our Westshore Service Centre. If you are detail-oriented and interested in a career in automotive service, we would like to hear from you.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor's are responsible for the following:

- Estimate the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
- Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the telephone
- Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labour into consideration
- Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms
- Connecting customers to the right auto technician
- Confirm test drive of customers’ vehicle was completed
- Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions
- Make sure all RO’s are filled out correctly including exact mileage in and out
- Alignment and tire checker is printed and attached to each work order
- Proper communication on repairs needed to both the customer and sales.
- Body problems - Scratches, dents, or major body damage (must be clear)
- Ensure workspace is clean and presentable to customers.
- A team-first attitude. Working with our technicians, parts advisors and sales.
- Fast-paced environment, ability to follow tasks under pressure or deadlines.
- Writing and processing warranty claims

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge of both import & domestic vehicles
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume shop
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Shows initiative
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, building spreadsheets - Gmail, creating files/folders
- PBS knowledge an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
