**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of all dishes served
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils
**Skills**
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the food industry or related kitchen experience is preferred
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills within the kitchen
