**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in quality and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support the cooking staff during meal service by preparing dishes as directed.
- Manage inventory by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
