Full Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the CSR include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Scheduling appointments
- Setting up new clients and patients in our electronic medical software
- Preparation and maintenance of medical records
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Mailings
- Computer operation
- Financial transactions
- Filing
- Front office and reception area maintenance
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization sills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Takes initiative and accepts accountability

**Experience**:

- veterinary clinic: 2 years (preferred but not required)
- receptionist: 2 years (preferred but not required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Experience with Avimark is a bonus

**Salary**: $16 - $20 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All clients must wear masks when in the clinic and we limit the number of appointments at any given time. Time spent with the staff is also limited to the initial consultation.

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
- Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Elgin, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
