**Hourly Rate**:$26.47 CAD / Hour (Starting)

**What you will do**:
Under general direction of the Manager Maintenance and Operations and daily guidance and direction from the Coordinator, the Groundskeeper safely performs emptying of waste/recycling bins, day to day seasonal duties which include outdoor custodial work such as sweeping, shoveling snow, snow plowing, vacuuming, weeding, grass cutting, light landscaping labour such as cutting in new planting beds, laying interlock, laying sod, mulching and planting flowers, shrubs and trees. This position requires on-call capacity and some computer fluency.

**_Skills & Experience_**

Minimum of one year Practical, hands-on experience with landscape and general grounds maintenance of commercial, institutional, or park properties. Skid Steer and Chain Shaw Operators Certification, First Aid/CPR certificate and small engine training would be considered an asset. (Preferred assets in descending order of importance: skid steer, WHMIS, chainsaw, small engine)
