Maintenance Technician - Day Shift
Are you an experienced professional with a passion for problem solving and equipment maintenance? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our machinery. If you have strong mechanical skills, experience with electrical troubleshooting, and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of equipment
Troubleshooting of equipment repairs
Liaise with equipment suppliers/OEM's, contractors
Operate forklift, scissor lift, lifting devices
Ad hoc groundskeeping, minor facility repair, general plant cleanliness
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety protocols.
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
Strong Safety mindset
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
-Mechanical Aptitude
-Forklift, scissor lift, lifting device experiences will be considered assets
-Electrical certification- 309A or 442A is strongly preferred
-Plumbing experience is an asset
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
-Must be comfortable working at heights up to 15-20 feet
Must be able to lift, and/or move, up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
