**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support the overall operations of the kitchen by helping with various tasks as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
