**Paradise Banquet Hall**, one of Vaughan's most sought-after Hospitality and Event Centre, is looking for a professional to be part of our exciting culinary team.

We are looking for a full-time prep cook to join our Cold Kitchen team. The shifts are mainly between Thursday to Sundays day shifts, some evenings.

**Job Summary**

Cold Kitchen is responsible for the production of:

- _Cutting and portioning cold kitchen items such as: fruit, cheese, deli, salad and more_
- _Preparing, through to completion, menu items according to given specifications with an eye for presentation and quality_
- _Arranging finished products on platters with garnishes_

**Qualifications**
- _Have a level of knife skills and be able to work safely in a kitchen environment_
- _1 year kitchen experience is encouraged_
- _Be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen area producing high quality products_
- _Be detail orientated and a quick learner, follow direction from Head Chef and management_
- _Perform kitchen duties in accordance with food safety and cleanliness guidelines._

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
