**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items, including fried chicken, side dishes, and other specialty items, according to Nene Chicken’s recipes and specifications.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of food products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient preparation of food orders.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including temperature control and sanitation standards.
- Assist with kitchen tasks as needed, including dishwashing, food preparation, and cleaning duties.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain certification.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
