**The Company**

Tidewater Container Services Inc. performs comprehensive container and cargo handling services for Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) at the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility (TCEF) related to the examination/inspection of containerized cargo by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to fulfill national security objectives. Tidewater also provides integrated warehousing and containerized cargo trans-loading solutions for importers and exporters at the TCEF site.

We are a looking to fill a permanent full-time position of Transportation Coordinator.

This position will be of interest to persons with experience in the field of import/export logistics as well as to recent graduates of Transportation Management or Transportation Logistics programs from post-secondary institutions such as BCIT, Kwantlen Polytechnic, and University of British Columbia etc.

**Job Duties**
- Arrange transportation services with marine terminals.
- Accurate data entry into our customer service/dispatch software.
- Work individually to prioritize own work as well as collaborate with the operations team
- Billing examination to steamship lines

**Skills & Qualifications**
- High School diploma minimum, post secondary education preferred
- Education/experience in Transportation Management or Logistics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving in a changing environment
- Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Professional communication in both written and spoken English

**Hours**: Full - time Monday to Friday shift schedule to be confirmed; morning shift 6:30am - 3:00pm or afternoon shift 2:30pm to 11:00pm, may change based on operational needs.

**Location**: 2929 41B Street, DELTA

Employment is conditional upon applicant successfully completing all necessary pre-employment requirements including obtaining a CBSA Reliability Security Clearance, criminal record check, and Physical Abilities Assessment to qualify for employment. Tidewater / Harbour Link is a participant in the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Partners in Protection (PIP), Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and other international security programs in which the Company is a participant (the “Security Programs”). Continued employment with the Company is conditional upon employees maintaining such qualifications under the Security Programs. If, at any time, an employee becomes unqualified under the Security Programs, termination of employment shall be immediate.
