Transportation Planner/logistics Analyst

**Overview**

**Core responsibilities as a planner are as per below**:
**Transportation Planning**:

- Tendering all the appointments to the carrier and assigning the right loads to the carrier with the consideration of price and the areas that they operate.
- Managing the below customers from booking appointment to tendering, asking for rate and getting approval for any additional charges as well as re-booking missed appointments, Updating notes in WMP and assigning the best carrier for the job.
- Tendering LTL shipments on a daily basis.

**Inbound Planning**:

- Planning inbounds and updating the data in both WMP and coordinating with the security staff and W/H team on regular basis regarding the inbounds.
- Sending the empty container report to the carriers who dropped trailers at the end of the day.
- Managing and providing appointments for the stock transfer trailers from the east W/H.
- Helping the W/H team in scanning inbounds and outbound when there is excessive workload and making sure the quality of products received and delivered.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Transportation Planner: 2 years (required)
- Inbound Planning: 1 year (required)

**Location**:

- Delta, BC (preferred)
