**Position Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive **HR Assistant** to join our growing team. The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department with day-to-day administrative tasks, recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and records management. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with recruitment activities including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Prepare onboarding materials and facilitate new employee orientations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Help organize employee engagement events and initiatives.
- Assist with compliance and safety-related documentation.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (transportation/logistics industry experience is an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
