Reporting to the Manager, Teaching Support and Curriculum Enhancement, the Coordinator, Teaching Support Programs is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day implementation of professional learning programs and initiatives for faculty, teaching assistants and instructional staff. Working in a team-based environment, the Coordinator works closely with Centre for Learning & Teaching (CLT) staff to support the planning, delivery and evaluation of programs and builds effective relationships and partnerships with other academic support units across the university to enable the development of responsive and accessible programming.

The Coordinator works within the Centre for Learning & Teaching (CLT) as part of a larger team delivering a range of programs and services for faculty, students, Teaching Assistants and other instructional staff. Together, they collaborate with the university community to provide leadership and support that creates and sustains equitable and engaging teaching and learning environments for all OCAD University (OCAD U) students.

This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangements; however, a minimum of two to three days per week of on campus work is required with flexibility to adjust the days and times of work on campus to meet programming needs.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
- In consultation with the Manager, coordinate the development of an annual plan of professional learning programs and activities for OCAD University faculty, Teaching Assistants and instructional staff- Liaise with and build sustained relationships with the Faculty offices, School of Graduate Studies and other units across the University to promote collaboration and strengthen inter-departmental communication, information-sharing and referrals; disseminate information and updates across the team as relevant- Coordinate and plan an annual cycle of professional learning programs and initiatives (e.g., Academic Year Welcome, Teaching Assistant (TA) training, workshops, communities of practice, consultations) in face-to-face, hybrid and online formats, including scheduling, promotion, registration, logistics and hospitality, working with the Administrative Assistant to facilitate the timely scheduling and day-to-day updates of programming; document, file and disseminate program recordings and materials- Participate in reflective practice and professional learning activities, individually and in teams, to integrate equity and sustainability principles across relevant programs, processes and practices- Work with the Manager to develop an annual communications and promotional strategy to build campus-wide awareness of Centre programs; draft program and project-related communications and coordinate the development and implementation of promotional and communications strategies, collaborating with relevant staff to align communication and promotional strategies and timelines where appropriate- Collaborate with the Evaluation and Communications Specialist to implement program monitoring and evaluation processes across programs to advance evidence-informed program development and decision-making; support the preparation and dissemination of relevant reports and presentations as required- Serve as Secretary to the University’s Teaching and Learning Committee, a sub-committee of Senate, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, communicating on behalf of the Chair and tracking action items to facilitate the timely flow of committee business; liaise with the Office of the Vice-President, Academic & Provost (VPAP) regarding committee business- Coordinate the annual administration of the University-wide Teaching Awards, including liaising with the Faculties and other stakeholders, coordinating the Teaching Awards Committee and adjudication process, drafting university-wide communications, promoting the awards and responding to inquiries, and liaising with the Office of the VPAP to coordinate related communications, announcements and events; collaborate with relevant staff to support related events and programming- Collaborate with the Coordinator & Research Facilitator, Curricular Innovation Initiatives to coordinate the OCAD U Teaching Exhibition, a showcase of teaching in art and design education- Provide program and service information and resources, referring inquiries to the Manager and program staff as required- Coordinate the annual review and maintenance of faculty resources; support the development and preparation of new resources in response to emergin
