**Who we need**

Reporting to the Director of the Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI), we have a newly created opportunity for a Coordinator, Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial team.

As the operational and organizational backbone of the CTEI, you will work closely with the Director and Senior Educational Developers (SEDs) to coordinate programs, partnerships, communications, and processes that shine a light on academic excellence and innovation across Yorkville University and Toronto Film School. You will manage schedules, track data, centralize information, and ensure that workshops, events, and initiatives run seamlessly—often behind the scenes, but always at the heart of our impact.
- This is a full-time, hybrid role, based in Toronto, working one or more days per week on-site, with occasional travel to our campuses in British Columbia and New Brunswick._

**As our new Coordinator, Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation you will**:

- ** Support faculty excellence.**You will be the first point of contact for faculty and staff seeking guidance on teaching strategies, course design, and learning innovation. You will respond to inquiries with professionalism and resourcefulness, connecting staff and instructors to tools, resources, and training that enhance teaching effectiveness.
- ** Coordinate educational development.**You will organize workshops, webinars, trainings, and educational development sessions on topics such as teaching philosophies, assessment strategies, active learning techniques, and inclusive teaching practices. You will schedule facilitators, help prepare materials, and manage logistics to ensure a seamless developmental experience for participants.
- ** Maintain resources.**You will help curate and update teaching and learning guides, toolkits, and online resource repositories to ensure faculty, instructors, and staff have access to current, evidence-informed pedagogies and practices. You will track resource usage, collect feedback, and recommend updates based on trends and needs.
- ** Collaborate.**You will work closely with Teaching and Learning team members, academic leaders, and other campus partners to advance teaching quality and innovation initiatives.
