Emerging Toronto-based fashion brand looking for in-studio assistance starting immediately to the end of August.

**This is a part-time volunteer opportunity with a time commitment of ~5 hours/week.**

**The Brand**:
Founded in 2021, SOAP Studios is an experiment in self expression, offering unique and sustainable garments in the women's Ready-To-Wear category. SOAP Studios collections are fun and feminine with a focus on elevating the everyday wardrobe. We are looking to expand our team with a volunteer who is excited to learn and grow with us.

**Position Summary**:
**Position Duties**:

- Cutting out pattern pieces for made-to-order styles
- Assisting with small hand sewing tasks
- Coordination and shipping of orders and PR packages
- Assisting at photoshoots and fashion shows when scheduled (steaming garments, set up and take down)
- A love for fashion
- Experience in pattern making
- Experience in sewing
- A desire to participate in the local fashion environment

**Time Commitment**:

- Approximately 5 hours/week
- In person on Monday or Tuesday
- Availability for scheduled events such as fashion shows or photoshoots. Event scheduling will be discussed and confirmed in advance with volunteer.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
