Sales Estimator/project Manager

Ajax, Canada Rand Electric Full time

Responsible for driving commercial sales by identifying and calling on prospective customers to develop relationships and interest.
- Job estimating and quoting.
- Project management from start to finish.
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline and reporting to management as required.
- Develop territory by visiting customers regionally (by car).
- Visit customer sites regularly to keep top-of-mind for customers and check in on upcoming projects.
- Prospect and contact potential customers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
- Prepare, design, build, plan, and spec estimates.
- Create, track and maintain project schedules to monitor progress/completion.
- Ensure that all project aspects are effectively coordinated and completed within schedule while meeting the specifications and budget.
- Supervise field staff and monitor them for timelines and quality of work performed.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Create change orders and additions to contracts agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Create cost forecasts and prepare progress billings.
- Prepare progress and cost tracking reports.
- Coach field staff on performance and efficiency.
- Prepare project close-out documentation, including archiving of documents, creation of maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work.
- Other tasks as requested by the General Manager or President.

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$35,000.00 per year
