**Team Lead, Contract Management**
Reporting to the Manager, Contract Management, the Team Lead, Contract Management role will support our Sales teams nationally, and will be responsible for ensuring that key legal documents are compliant and consistent with corporate policies and are optimal and practical to each opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and draft various legal contacts, documents and correspondence
- Formalize, document, and maintain legal best practices and processes.
- Incorporate / comply with Corporate legal contract management.
- Provide comprehensive review of key legal documents during the negotiation stage.
- Propose alternate contract language where required.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Senior Management as appropriate.
- Assist in the review and coordination of RFP submissions.
- Maintain all key document template control
- Perform all duties in compliance with Corporate’s current and applicable processes, templates, checklists and tools.
- Support the development of Contract Management Plans as appropriate.
- Support the administration of Contract Amendments affecting relevant Terms and Conditions.
- Keeping appropriately current with applicable law
- Assist with projects as required

**Skills and Experience We Value**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a legal environment, experience in contract or real estate law preferred
- Post-secondary education in business or related discipline. Law Clerk or Paralegal certificate or diploma preferred.
- Strong legal contract drafting knowledge, with experience in the Contract Administration process
- Strong business acumen
- Skills allow for working independently with little supervision
- Thorough knowledge of applicable legal terminology, contract language interpretation, and Terms and Conditions
- Self motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills - oral and written are essential
- Ability to work accurately, effectively under pressure
- Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
