Your role as Public Relations and Social Media Specialist will be to increase the visibility of the G.M. COLLIN and Yonka Canada brands in the Canadian and American territories by creating content adapted to each social network as well as developing public and professional relations with influencers, magazines, publishers and other media in order to position ourselves among the most important brands in North America.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will be to:

- Strategically manage the various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) in English and French;
- Establish the publication calendar and ensure continuous updating;
- Create appropriate and interesting content for our social media accounts and schedule the various publications;
- Ensure activity by interacting with our subscribers on a daily basis;
- Ensure a continuous analysis of editorial needs and be on the lookout for opportunities with magazines, blogs and influencers in order to increase the presence of our brands in the various media;
- Develop various public relations strategies in line with the analyses carried out and ensure their continuous updating;
- Prepare the publication schedule in magazines, negotiate costs and ensure publications in conjunction with other team members involved;
- Develop one-time marketing campaigns in connection with specific events related to our two brands (e.g. new products, holidays, social responsibilities, etc.) and ongoing marketing campaigns;
- Maintain an up-to-date media list, create new relationships with beauty editors, journalists and influencers and target partners to contact and convince to participate in various marketing campaigns;
- Analyze and respond to requests from various media outlets to take advantage of placement opportunities;
- Be creative in developing concepts to make the media mailings attractive;
- Ensure a rigorous follow-up of the various media mailings in order to validate the reception, appreciation and commitment;
- Write, verify and distribute press releases in French and English;
- Produce regular performance reports and measure the results of public relations initiatives;
- Ensure that the public relations budget set by the immediate supervisor is respected;
- Participate in market research and competitive analysis to determine market requirements for current and future products;
- Participate in the creation of promotional and marketing materials and advertising campaigns for all product launches;
- Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- College degree in marketing or related field to the job;
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Bilingualism;
- Developed ability to conduct media monitoring and analyze market trends;
- Exceptional persuasive communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to deal with and establish business relationships with the various media;
- Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks (project management);
- Organizational skills, thoroughness and dynamism;
- Mastery of the MS Office environment;
- Be available to adapt his/her schedule according to operational needs;
