Area Billing Manager

Reporting to our Area Director of Finance, the **Area Billing Manager** will be managing a team responsible for invoicing customers across the Canada Market Area. You will be working closely with Sales, Customer service, Collections and Operations to ensure we are invoicing accurately and resolving billing problems that require a higher level of complexity. You will act as the main point of contact between the market area and our Centralized Billing Center (CBC). You can explain just about anything to anyone, and you don’t get flustered easily. - Manipulating data files to produce reports and analyzing results accordingly. - Managing multiple time-sensitive tasks to completion, engaging business partners for input when needed. - Fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **The Day-To-Day** - Leading the team to deliver on targets while putting the customer first. - Reviewing data to ensure accurate delivery of electronic and mailed invoicing. - Working with sales to resolve customer and system issues. - Calculating complex billing adjustments and approvals. - Partnering with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve processes and increase alignment across the organization. - Develops and adapts departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities to address resource and operational challenges and to drive Area change in processes required by the CBC. - Evaluates policies and procedures and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to as directed. - Assists both CBC and Area with necessary RFA’s (system/data changes, customer moves, inserts, etc.) and provides input and CBC communication such as system enhancements, Area contacts and new billing events. **Location**: This is a **Hybrid** role. Work from Office days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Remote work from home day is Friday.
