**Position Overview**:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, developing, delivering and reporting on assigned projects within scope, schedule, and budgeted hours and in alignment with the agreed and approved contract. The PM will also be responsible for the management and coordination of project coordinators and technical support staff in the delivery of projects or strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will act as the single point of contact and integrative responsibility, for all aspects of assigned projects, from the inception of a project to the final close-out. The PM is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing all tasks, critical dates, Client and third-party interface and relations, performances, quality and customer satisfaction, project administration for each assigned project as per the contracted scope of work.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Meets financial objectives by assisting in forecasting requirements; budget hours; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Define, scope and document required work in approved program templates associated with their assigned projects.
- Ensure project plans are integrated with other related projects. Ensure dependencies are documented, tracked and reported upon.
- Resolve and escalate issues on a timely basis.
- Ensure definition and approval of project scope, deliverables, desired quality and measures of success.
- Develop project plans that effectively align scope, time, quality, resources, risk, communication and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control.
- Identify and mitigate risk concerning the organization and its clients.
- Monitor appropriate risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with various team members responsible for completing each phase of the project.
- Ensure appropriate change, acceptance and approval processes are adhered to.
- Ensure that timely communication occurs between the project and its stakeholders.
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require program management or executive attention.
- Monitor the progress of construction activities regularly and lead status meetings with the team.
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
- Maintain effective communications strategies among project team and stakeholders.
- Identify elements of the project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
- Serve as a key link with the Clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing it onto the Client.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the site superintendent, architects, consultants, contractors as required within the scope of work.
- Ensure project documents are complete and accurate, error-free and code compliant.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or a Degree in Architecture
- Fluent in French
- 5+ years of related business experience, preferably in the Architectural and or Design or Construction industry with site and or contract administration experience
- PMP or other Project Management certification is an asset.
