Job Summary

Reporting to the IT Program Manager, Technology Delivery, the IT Project Manager will manage technology projects through all phases of the Project Lifecycle. You’ll use your expertise in project planning, execution, risk and change management to deliver results on time, within scope and on budget. In this role you will lead Project teams made up of different stakeholders such as Business Partners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Analysts, Data Analysts, Security Analysts and External Vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage the scope, schedule and budget of technical projects to ensure projects are well-defined and successfully delivered.
- Effectively lead Project Teams throughout the project lifecycle promoting communication and collaboration.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project issues and risks.
- Manage project changes, assessing impact to budget, schedule and scope and exploring options to address.
- Track project status and escalate potential issues/risks as required.
- Gather and document project requirements.
- Develop project change management and communication plans.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions to document potential improvements.
- Adhere to PMO standards.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive hands-on project management experience having successfully led and delivered numerous complex IT projects at an enterprise level.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile Project Management methodologies.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- CSM or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with finance/insurance industry preferred.
- Collaboration skills: You’re a relationship-builder who enjoys working closely with and learning from internal teams. You easily gain the trust of your team members and are excellent at defining the big-picture vision and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.
- Project management expertise: You are highly detail-oriented and meticulous. Your focus is accomplishing milestones while ensuring processes are followed and issues are proactively dealt with. You’re a strong multi-tasker who can oversee the progress of multiple team members and motivate them to put their best foot forward. You are proficient in Microsoft Project as well as other project management tools.
