**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Maintain and update all employee records (digital and physical files), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy legislation (E.g., PIPEDA) and company retention policies.
- Process new hire paperwork, including offer letters, employment contracts, provincial and federal tax forms, direct deposit information, emergency contact details etc.
- Process and follow up on background checks including training completion.
- Benefit administration.
- Prepare and issue various HR-related letters and documents.
- Scan, fill and archive documents regularly to maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system.
- Assist with general office duties as needed.
- Other HR duties as needed.
- Other administrative tasks as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma required; Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- CHRP designation, or working towards, considered an asset.
- 1-3 years or proven experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, ensuring integrity and confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
