Office Assistant/receptionist

**Job description**
As our Reception and Office Admin Associate, you will be our first point of contact for our School, and you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for our clients and students. Gaining knowledge of our Programs is a priority and having a background in the Arts is particularly desirable as well as embracing and celebrating our creative culture.
**Responsibilities**
- Greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls
- Assisting customers with any online purchases of merchandise
- Accurate data entry
- Ensuring foyer and common areas are tidy
- Opening mail, couriered documents, and ensuring they get to the appropriate staff
- General office administrative tasks
- Manage a process for stocking and taking inventory
- Assisting with Event Management in partnership with Team Leads
- Other duties as assigned
- Attend all General Staff Meetings
- Join 2 of the company employee committees
- Assisting Office Staff with all tasks
- Assisting with Attendance
- Assisting with Birthday Lists & Displays for Students
- Office Cleanliness & Organization
- Inventory: School Uniforms & Office Supplies
- Checking, Packaging Orders & Keeping Track of Inventory
- Staff Bulleting Updating
- Dance School Transition
- Assist Dance Teachers with changing students
- Assist with Filing & Scanning & Data Entry
.Assist Office Manager with Social Media & Event Photography
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Working knowledge of Constant Contact, Pipedrive, Transparent and Amilia would be a benefit
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience
- Success in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently within a small team that is results driven
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Have a high level of organizational skills, managing and prioritizing several task/projects at once
- Post-secondary education and/or related experience
- Highly motivated, reliable, and punctual
- Quick learner
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
**Weekly Schedule**
Tuesday to Friday 1pm - 9:30pm
Saturday 8:00-4:30 pm
Reporting Relationship - you will report to the office management team
Uniform is required
**Salary is negotiable based on skills.**
Contract length: 12 months renewal
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour (will be reviewed after 3 months)
**Salary**: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
