Encepta is looking to welcome a Human Resources and Executive Coordinator to our team This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is wanting to learn more about Business Operations, Human Resources and Executive Support. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and partnering very closely with the President and CEO, this person will support day to day HR functions as well as assisting the company founder. This is a hybrid role with work locations based from home as well as our head office in Burnaby, BC.

The Human Resources coordination scope encompasses recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits admin, policies and procedures maintenance, research, trend analysis, Encepta's committee involvement and general administration and support. The Executive Support will focus on inbox and calendar management, deliverable and supporting document creation, and event coordination.

A more detailed preview of some of the duties and responsibilities are found below:
**Human Resources Coordination (60%)**
- Assist with salary research, help coordinate and administer performance reviews, assist with maintenance of benefit programs, create letters and documents to support employee growth.
- Update policies and handbooks with new changes, communicate changes and track compliance/confirmation.
- Stay up to date on HR trends regarding employee support, compensation, engagement, legal requirements and share with the HR Manager.
- Be an active member of the company's various committees, help drive participation and engagement, plan and run events.
- Maintain and track systems with employee-related information, generate reports as requested.

**Executive Support Administration (40%)**
- Manage and maintain calendar and inbox priorities as if it was your own, book and reschedule meetings, maintain frequent communication with the CEO.
- Create reports and presentations, assist with and prepare various documents and materials as needed.
- Attend meetings as needed, provide documentation and recording support, organize and plan events.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative or human resources work environments;
- Recent University/College/Technical School Graduate or CO-OP Student preferred in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent combination of experience and training;
- Extremely organized and has awareness of prioritization;
- Understands when to escalate concerns, but can also handle challenging situations independently;
- Ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sound decision making;
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and summaries;
- Experience communicating in a professional manner, both written and verbal;
- Experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Meet, Google Sheets, Google Drive) or equivalent Microsoft apps;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think things through to arrive at a solution;
- Organized, time conscious and focused on results;
- Ability to manage multiple, ongoing project tasks and provide weekly status updates;
- Ability to work efficiently on time-sensitive projects with changing deliverables and priorities;
- Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills who is comfortable in a cross-functional, diverse team environment;
- Courteous and amicable customer service approach to the public.
